Open Day
Join us at our studio for a day of community, free yoga classes, promotions, coffee and community lunch.
Kicking off at 09:30, Free Online Vinyasa Flow with Amy and in-person classes during the whole day.
Community chanting and lunch at 13:15-15:15 for all.
A perfect chance to try out different styles of classes and teachers and see our beautiful studio! We have yoga mats and all the props you need- just come in clothes you are happy to move in.

09:30-10:15
Online Vinyasa Yoga with Amy
Flowing class suitable for all students of yoga who wish to marry breath and movement in a flowing practice with attention to alignment.
This class will be appropriate for people with some experience of yoga but mixed levels as lots of options provided.

10:00-10:45
Vinyasa with Samuel
A flow style class where you are led through your practice linking your movement with breath. Vinyasa yoga is a more dynamic practice where you move through a flow of different yoga poses.
This class will be appropriate for people with some experience of yoga.

11:15-12:30
Accessible Yoga with Vanessa
This accessible and inclusive class is a general yoga class - a fusion of flowing postures, breathwork and rest. The practice will move with embodied awareness, clear emphasis on alignment and an invitation to do what is right for you on this day.
Appropriate for all levels, especially those newer to yoga or working with injuries/ pain or long term conditions.

Ashtanga with Emma
Ashtanga is breath and movement practice rooted in a traditional Indian philosophy. Expect heating building postures that keep your mind focused but will be taught in a way that even those newer to yoga will enjoy!
This class is suitable for those with a little bit of yoga experience.

Community Lunch & small Chanting
Everyone welcome (new and regular students) for a social non-āsana (postures) hours of the day.
Expect big pots of dhal, a little bit of chanting with Samuel, coffee and a lot of community. Children welcome and welcome to bring a dish.
Sign up just so we know how much food to make but everyone is welcome.

15:15-16:00
Yin with Kirsten:
Yin is a slower paced style of yoga where we stay in a pose for longer periods, often a few minutes at a time. Props will be available to support your body in the poses, which are normally done seated or lying down.
This class is suitable for all levels.

16:30-17:15
Beginners with Emma
This is foundational class, perfect for those newer to yoga or Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
Emma will guide you through the basic elements of what to expect in a yoga class- including breath and movement, some discussion explain the different titles of classes, how to build your confidence in your own body and also the possible next steps.
