We love beginners and work hard to make sure that we have specific entry points for folks to take their first steps in their yoga practices, in classes or courses.

Our upcoming courses starting in September below and drop-in options that our on our schedule all year round.

  • Thursday 7:15PM: 4 weeks Beginners Ashtanga Yoga Course w/Katie

    Sep 25 - Oct 16

    A 4-week introductory course for complete beginners, those keen to review the beginning steps or learn more about the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice.

    We will explore the foundations of the dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa-based styles of āsana practice in a friendly, low-pressure beginners environment.

    All bodies welcome -- poses and sequences will be taught with variations, modifications and adjustments, with the attitude that there is no one right way for a pose to be or look.

    This 4 week course is £40. (Students email us a photo of your student ID and we will send over a 15% discount code). If you are unable to attend one week, we are happy to find an alternative class within the 4 weeks period to attend (no refunds).

  • Wednesday 7:00PM: 6 weeks Mysore Course w/Kirsten

    Sep 24 - Oct 29

    A rare opportunity to study Mysore style Ashtanga in a dedicated beginners environment over six weeks.

    This course will prepare you for building a long term Ashtanga self practice, and to join our Mysore program.

    Mysore style is personalised 1:1 help in building your Ashtanga practice: not merely learning the sequence of postures (asana), but delving into the alignment, breathing (pranayama), gaze points (drishti) and energetic locks (bandha), which give the Ashtanga practice it’s therapeutic potency.  

    This course is suitable for brand new beginners or a student who has not practiced Mysore style of Ashtanga yoga before. It is for all levels, bodies, ability, ages, sizes and genders.  

    This 6 week course is £60. Wednesday at 19:00 - 20:00. Please make sure you can attend all sessions, we can offer make-up days within the 6 week period (no refunds). If you are a student/senior- please email us for the discount code.

  • Drop in Options

    Alongside our Beginners course there are also a several weely classes on our schedule that are particularly beginner friendly:

    - Mysore Beginners: Monday 10:00 & Wednesday 19:00.

    - Gentle Vinyasa: Friday 10:30, Saturday 08:45

    - Yin: Friday 15:45 (In-person & Online)

    - Community Yoga- Pay what you can: Thursday 12:00 (In-person & Online)
