Ashtanga Mysore Style
Ashtanga Yoga Edinburgh established in 2008 and offers a daily Mysore style program both AM & PM, led classes, beginners courses and online options for all levels in the tradition of Ashtanga Vinyāsa Yoga as taught in Mysore, India.
Hillside Collective
Hillside Collective is a collective built with AYE to represent offering beyond the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage.

Our class sizes are small (10-12 students) with very senior teachers (10+years) and are packed with community connections and care.
We welcome all levels of students to our shala and have built out our program to suit you were you are right now, body and mind.

We can cater for your individual needs and adjust and adapt postures to suit your body and energy each day/stage of life. We teach you how to build long term daily yoga practices that are sustainable, challenging, exciting and appropriate for you.
Authenticity
Our teaching combines physical practice with traditional elements of Sanskrit, chanting, and ancient yogic philosophy. Remaining true to the authentic roots of this mindful way of living. We support you to learn deeply beyond the āsana (postures).

We strongly believe that you are the master of your own bodies/minds- inner Gurus! AYE is committed to creating an uplifting and inclusive space where diversity is celebrated. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse in all its forms and have often been called a “Progressive Ashtanga” community.
